Question 1

Is it really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Install it from the Atlassian Marketplace and use the whole product: both canary loops, alerting to Slack or an external inbox, and the per-channel detection bound. There is no site limit, no trial clock and no card on file.

Question 2

Will that change?

Accepted Answer

Paid plans will come later, because running the engine and supporting it costs money. We will tell you at least 30 days before anything changes. Moving a site to a paid plan needs a new app version that the site's admin has to approve, so nothing is charged without your say-so.

Question 3

What will pricing look like?

Accepted Answer

Like other Atlassian Marketplace apps: billed by Atlassian, based on your site's user tier, with Atlassian's standard free trial for new sites. We will publish the numbers here before any change takes effect.

Question 4

Is there any commitment?

Accepted Answer

No. There is no contract and no card, and the app comes out in two clicks at any point: uninstall it, and optionally delete the canary customer and its issues. Nothing was migrated, so nothing needs to be undone.

Question 5

Can we talk to someone first?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Write to hello@app-sync.com or use the contact form. Support and the product team are the same people, and we are glad to walk through setup with you.
